Surrounded by fields and with the famous Red Kites in the skies above, this comfortable country house offers our guests the best of all worlds.

Close to many National trust Houses; Waddesdon, with its beautiful gardens; Hughenden, steeped in history and West Wycombe, a delight on Snowdrop Sunday. Handy for the M40 to London and Oxford. There are also 2 main line stations within a 10 minute drive. For the shoppers, Bicester Village Retail Outlet is easily accessible. The delightful river side towns of Henley on Thames and Marlow, with their superb shops and bistros are but a short drive away. Easy access to London Heathrow and Luton airports within an hour.

For walkers The Croft is within a mile of the Ridgeway Path, one of the oldest and loveliest footpaths in the Uk with many a friendly pub on the way. There are many local walks through the woods that crown the Chilterns, and if you are lucky you might glimpse a deer deep in the undergrowth, and you will almost certainly be treated to a sighting of a Red Kite or two. For cyclists the Chilterns with its stunning views are not to be missed. Go clay pigeon shooting. Chinnor is home to the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway, so for those of you who remember the days of steam trains this is a must. Our nearest town is Thame, whose Tuesday market dates back to the 16^th Century, and has many individual shops and hostelries.

There are many local gastro pubs, village pubs, and restaurants. The Manoir de Quatre Saisons is a short drive away and the well known Sir Charles Napier is within walking distance. So all in all The Croft offers both business persons and tourists alike the ultimate location.

Breakfast is served between 7.15 and 8.30. We offer a full English breakfast or house specialities, such as smoked salmon and scrambled eggs or sautéed mushrooms on toast.
